Mike McElwee has 10+ years in the IT industry, with the majority of it spent doing Java and J2EE development. He currently lives in Northbrook, IL.

This could be anything I suppose, such as requests for new web tools, a Java question or anything else. Warning! He won't give out credit card numbers, cookie recipes or the like. He may either send an email back to you or add your question to the website, perhaps through a Frequently Asked Question (FAQ) tab. Also note that requests to debug your code, etc. will typically not be addressed as it is a question that will likely only help one person. Now if it is a general question, you have a better chance.

Obviously the number of emails he will be able to respond to will depend on the number of emails he receives, how little of a life he actually has this week, etc.

Before switching to IT, Mike was a chemical engineer doing R&D for the remediation of hazardous and radioactive materials. No, he doesn't glow in the dark as far as you know.
